Brinkburn Priory is the most excellent location to listen to music of all kinds, but it has become especially known for its classical music programme. In partnership with English Heritage the priory provides a wonderful heritage backdrop to Brinkburn Music Festival.

The Festival team are gearing up for this years festival which was launched on Tuesday 27 March - where friends and donors will joined us and our artistic director for a sneak preview of this years programme.

This years festival will offer audiences Brinkburn Bistro alongside picnics to enjoy in the grounds of the priory - keep posted to the web site for more details.

2012 sees our new Brinkburn Friends Scheme, this is so important to the festival to enable the charity to produce such a wonderful programme in this far flung corner of Northumberland, which for these few short days becomes the most enchanting place. Becoming a donor or patron will make tickets available to you a full four weeks before general sale, and being a festival friend will make tickets available to you two weeks before general sale.

If you would like to attend further concerts at Brinkburn please also see the Brinkburn Summer Music Series. This is a programme of 27 short concerts, by Northumbrian Choirs & Musicians, held on a Saturdays & Sundays throughout the season. Commencing at 2.00 p.m. within the weatherproof Priory these concerts are free to visitors of Brinkburn and last between 1 & 1 ½ hours.
