She has had a very close artistic partnership as conductor and performer with the Britten Sinfonia for the past 10 years. The most recent project was the acclaimed 'Moondog/Art of Fugue' tour - a radical reworking of Bach's late great work, alongside the music of the famous 1950s New York street musician. in April 2007 she toured South America with the Britten Sinfonia. Her album Play, on her own record label SoundCircus, received a Mercury Prize nomination. Current releases include the Moondog/Bach project with Britten Sinfonia, Sidewalk Dances.
