Quay Voices

Quay Voices was established in 2005 and has quickly become one of the region's leading mixed-voice chamber choirs for young singers. Its repertoire includes everything from traditional Inca melodies to Fauré, Chilcott, Raminsh and John Lennon. The 2006/07 season has included performances and recordings with Northern Sinfonia, an appearance on BBC TV's Songs of Praise, and a tour to Hungary at Easter 2007.

Morpeth Minors Children's Choir is a Northumberland County Music Service ensemble, established in 2003 and directed by Edward Milner and Jennifer Nelson.

The choir, open to boys and girls aged 8-13 in the Morpeth area, meets weekly during term time, singing a wide range of interesting and exciting music. It has participated in various special events and concerts, including the Northumberland Youth Choir Festival, Morpeth Maritime Festival (organised by 20,000 Voices) and a Gospel Requiem in Hall One at The Sage Gateshead.

Morpeth Minors are delighted to be performing at Brinkburn Music Festival alongside Quay Voices.
